Our Story

It all started in the heart of the Lake District, when Rinaldo’s Coffee Roastery rolled out its first Airstream-style coffee trailer. What began as a passion for great coffee and beautiful design soon turned into a new challenge — finding food trailers that were reliable, well-built, and full of character.

After struggling to source quality units that met both UK standards and our own high expectations, we decided to take matters into our own hands. That’s how Custom Food Trailers was born — out of a desire to bring craftsmanship, style, and practicality together in one polished package.

Today, we build trailers that don’t just serve food — they turn heads and tell stories. Each one is carefully crafted using ISO 9001-certified materials and components, meeting UK and EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval for total peace of mind. From 32–64 amp electrical systems and AL-KO frames and brakes, to fully equipped sinks, extractors, and refrigeration, every detail is designed with reliability and performance in mind.
